What It's Like to Work in a Business Incubator

What is it like to work in a business incubator environment?  I can only speak of the working conditions of the Ground Floor Business Incubator located in Meridian, Idaho due to the fact that it is the ONLY incubator I've ever had the opportunity experience.  The building is historical and has been renovated (due to an unfortunate fire) to be "green" and includes modern paint color, furnishings, and technology.  Each month, a local artist is chosen to display their art, which gives the work space color, interest, and constant change.  The location of the Ground Floor Business Incubator is in the heart of downtown Meridian, so, city hall,  lunch, coffee, and the post office are all within walking distance.  Parking is NOT an issue.  The Ground Floor provides work space for small or start up businesses to work, coloborate, teach, network, etc. The work space is liquid, or flexible, so everything can be moved around, in order to provide people with their private or group needs.  The current tenants of the Ground Floor (which I will begin to blog about next week) consist of different backgrounds, businesses, experiences, etc, however they all have one goal in common, and that is to be successful.  I find the Ground Floor to be a carefree, informative, and hip place to work.
